Post Election RI Book Tour

The election’s over and it’s time for Mark Binder to get back to the books for kids and adults with two signings.

An award-winning author and nationally known storyteller, Mark has released two new collections this fall: Kings, Wolves, Princesses and Lions; and Genies, Giants and a Walrus. Mark will be signing copies, reading and telling stories for all ages at free events in Providence and Westerly. On Thursday, November 15, he’ll be at the Other Tiger Bookstore in Westerly at 6 pm, and on Saturday, November 17, he’ll be at the Rochambeau Community Library at 3pm.

The new books are:

Kings, Wolves, Princesses and Lions is written for readers in Grades 1-3, and their families to enjoy. An around-the world tour of Africa, Europe, the Americas and Asia, including Tales of Animals, Ordinary and Extraordinary People, Kings and Fools, American Favorites and International Classics.

Genies, Giants and a Walrus is for Grades 3-6 and their families to enjoy. It features adventures and tales from around the world, including legends from Thor… Scheherazade… Paul Bunyan… and Clever Doris?
