Because it’s the 21st century, everyone can broadcast live. It’s pretty wacky!
I’ve been setting up my phone at some shows and shooting “live” feeds on Periscope. (I tried Facebook, but it didn’t do “landscape” mode and my head was sideways.)

It’s interesting knowing that there are people watching and the successes and mistakes could be spread around the world.
My goal is to always put the live audience first, but strange how it affects the performance just a little. In the most recent one, I noticed that I was “cheating” toward the camera. I have frequently found it necessary to turn off the live feed so that I can focus solely on the people who are actually showing up in person.
One of these days I’ll figure out how to make it an “event.” If you have ideas let me know.
